A FOCUSED NAPSA SIDE FACE A WOUNDED NKANA SIDE THIS AFTERNOON,

NKANA VS NAPSA

15h00 (Nkana Stadium)

The Pensioners are set for another tough test this afternoon as they visit a wounded Nkana FC side this afternoon at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

And NAPSA Stars FC head Coach Mohamed Fathi has described today’s fixture as a big game that should be taken with all the seriousness it deserves.

This is a rescheduled Week-17 match that will see both teams jostle for maximum points to see them escape the relegation zone.

“It’s a serious game with a big team, their position does not matter. We will not underrate them and the game will be tough, but we have prepared and we will continue with our plan to push for maximum points.” Coach Fathi said.

Napsa and Nkana have not met yet this season owing to both teams being involved in Continental games.

Both teams are currently fighting relegation with NAPSA Stars being on a better side lying fourth from bottom with 36 points while Nkana is second from bottom with 28 points.

The Pensioners are yet to register a victory over Nkana since 2017, but this will not intimidate this focused Mohamed Fathi coached side that is coming from beating a stubborn Indeni side and looking forward to recording another victory.

A win for NAPSA Stars means leaving the relegation Zone while a win for Nkana still sees them in the red zone, but a point better than the current third from bottom placed Lumwana Radiants FC.

The Busakile boys have lost 15 games this season, won eight and drawn four, while NAPSA Stars has lost eight, won nine and drawn nine.

This promises to be a mouth-watering encounter that will be held at Nkana Stadium this afternoon and will be televised live on Supersport.
