The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has moved the ABSA cup final match between Red Arrows FC and Napsa Stars FC from this Saturday to April 30, 2022.
This is according to a statement issued by FAZ Communications Manager Sydney Mungala this morning.
The statement reads:
“The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) in conjunction with Absa Bank Zambia Limited wishes to inform all its stakeholders that the 2022 Absa Cup final between Red Arrows and Napsa Stars has been moved to April 30, 2022.
FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala says the venue for the match that was initially set for April 16, 2022, remains National Heroes Stadium.
“Following consultations with the sponsor and other stakeholders, we wish to notify members of the public that the much-anticipated Absa Cup final between Red Arrows and Napsa Stars has been pushed forward to April 30, 2022,” says FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala.
“However, the venue remains National Heroes Stadium and all tickets already purchased remain valid.”
Kashala further says, “We remain confident that the 2022 Absa Cup final will be the biggest ever. We are grateful for the support from all stakeholders thus far and can only look forward to an exciting final.”
Napsa was set to face Arrows after reaching the final which the qualified for after eliminating Nkana FC in their semi-final match.
