What a season it has been for us in the Eden National Division One League in which we are taking part after being relegated from the Super League at the end of the 2020/2021 season.
For a team that had played in the Super League for nine years straight only to be relegated in the same year when we managed to defy all odds by qualifying for CAF Confederations Cup and reaching Group stage of the same competition as debutants, it was frustrating.
Despite our demotion and playing in the FAZ Second tier, our sponsors have been relentless with their support to the team and have challenged everyone to die a little and take the team back to the Super Division where it belongs.
We are currently sitting third on the log with 43 points, three points below log leaders Lumwana Radiants FC and two points below second placed F.C MUZA. We are within the top bracket that gets to earn qualification to the elite division at the end of the season.
Yes, this a good record but for a team fighting to quickly get back to the Super League, we believe we can do better.
Our only appeal as a board to the players is that the team takes the remaining games with all the seriousness, each game deserves. The league has reached a point where every participating team is surely fighting for either survival or the top four finish, so we should not expect any easy games going forward.
My board will continue to provide support to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Our Head Coach Perry Mutapa has been constantly reminded of how critical it is that the team bounces back to top tier football looking at the brand we represent. And so far, so good, we are confident that we are bouncing back.
With only 10 matches remaining to conclude the Eden National Division One League, we need to record maximum points in most matches as opposed to any other result, to see us finish in top four and head back to the super league.
One objective of qualifying for the prestigious ABSA Cup was reached after the first half of the season and now everyone will be looking forward to achieving the major goal which is Super League qualification.
Lastly, we call on our valued fans to continue rallying behind the team because this is the moment, we need them the most. Let us take the team back to the Super League together.

Board Chairman
