COACH Perry Mutapa has previewed his team’s week-24 match to be played against Ndola giants ZESCO United FC tomorrow, in a pre-match interview held with NAPSA Stars FC media.
About his expectations for the second leg match following his team’s 2-1 victory over ZESCO United in the first leg…
“A lot of things have changed since we beat them, they have taken back coach George Lwandamina, an experienced coach. Yes, they might look inconsistent but for me this is a team that has done well so far because of the position they are ay on the log. They will still fight for the league because they have good players, experienced players, and international players. We are going to a ZESCO team which is very good.”
About the approach he will take facing a ZESCO United team which has reinforced its squad.
“It’s a team which is looking forward to doing well, Zambia enjoyed the four slots because of teams like ZESCO and Zanaco who did well in their CAF competition, and they still want to go back to doing well. So, it’s a team which we should not take lightly because they’ve reinforced with good quality players, so it won’t be an easy game.
If his team is intimidated facing ZESCO United tomorrow,
“I don’t think so, we will give them respect, but we are going there with a plan which is to win, but football has three results, a win, a draw, and a loss. But we are facing a very organized ZESCO side so the 90minutes will tell.
About being taken to a neutral ground for this match
ZESCO will still be at home, it’s not their usual ground but we are travelling all the way from Lusaka.
