NAPSA Stars Football Club head coach Mohamed Fathi has wished a quick recovery to his 15 players that tested Positive to Covid-19.
The Club received its Covid-19 results on Tuesday July 28, 2020 after testing on Monday July 20, 2020 and 19 members (15 players and 4 officials) tested Positive.
Coach Fathi in his post match interview ahead of today’s week-26 encounter against Ndola side Buildcon FC said he is positive that his players will come back strong from this adding that the current situation will push the team to keep fighting for the target set for this season.
The coach has also expressed confidence in the remaining players saying everyone will be ready for the task tomorrow.
“We want to make our friends who are out proud, I know everyone is ready because even the morale looks high which is a positive to us,” Coach Fathi adds.
This is the first match Napsa Stars is playing since the 2019/2020 League Season resumed on July 18, 2020 after being brought to a halt in March owing to the Coronavirus outbreak.
” I’m wishing a quick recovery to everyone infected, we are hoping to continue with the same spirit and this situation should give us more reason to keep fighting and achieve our target ,” Coach Fahti said.
And going into this game, NAPSA Stars FC is lying third on the log with 45 points from 25 games played.
The pensioners are set to host Buildcon FC at Woodlands Stadium today in their week 26 encounter.
