Striker Laudit Mavugo is part of the seven players that have separated with NAPSA Stars FC as the Club prepares for the 2022/23 MTN Super League Season.
The 32-year old Burundian joined the club in 2019 when the team was preparing for the Transitional League Season under Coach Mohamed Fathi.
The player has been in the books of NAPSA Stars for four seasons.
Mavugo was very instrumental for the Pensioners in his debut season scoring 10 goals and coming out joint Top Scorer alongside Austin Muwowo and Zikiru Adams then of Forest Rangers FC.
The Burundian stole the hearts of NAPSA Stars fans just on his first day, announcing his arrival in the Zambian league by scoring two goals in his debut.
Mavugo will be missed by his teammates for his humble and friendly spirit that the player brought in the squad.
The Club through its Club Chairman Mr. John Chundu has thanked the player for his service at the Club, and wished him all the best in his future endeavors.
