NAPSA Stars Football Club are back at Heroes Stadium this afternoon when they host Ndola based side Forest Rangers FC in a match week-33 of the MTN Super League.
The Club has announced that as a way of appreciating its fans for the overwhelming support this season, today’s match which is a last home match this season, will see spectators have free entry to Heroes Stadium.
“We want a lot of people to come and enjoy our last match at home this season, so this match is free for everyone,” confirmed Club CEO Ponga Liwewe.
MATCH OVERVIEW AND TEAM FORM
Only two points separate these two sides as they head into this match, with the Pensioners sitting fourth on the log with 49 points while Forest are seventh with 47 points.
The Pensioners are coming from recording a loss at the expense of Nkana FC in their last match played in Kitwe.
NAPSA Stars are pushing their long luck to finish second on the log but will have to get past FC MUZA who are second on the log with 50 points, Zesco United third with 49points and better on goal difference, as well as GBFC who equally share the same points but are fifth on the log.
Forest Rangers on the other hand is also coming from recording a 2-0 loss at the expense of Power Dynamos FC in their last match.
NAPSA Stars have done so well at home this season and will be looking at continuing with the same form.
And heading into today’s match, NAPSA Stars who are fourth on the log, have 13 victories, 10 draws and nine losses, while Forest Rangers who are seventh, have won 11, drawn 14 and lost seven matches.

Coach Perry is expected to make several changes to his side this afternoon with other players being out owing to injuries.

NAPSA Stars vs Forest Rangers’ head-to-head record shows that of the 15 meetings the two teams have had, NAPSA Stars has won six times and Forest Rangers has also won six times. The three fixtures between the two sides have ended in draws.
Their last meeting however saw Forest Rangers FC win by a goal to nil in Ndola.
