NAPSA Stars Football Club and Stanbic Bank Zambia have announced the renewal of their long-standing partnership. Stanbic Bank Zambia has increased its sponsorship for the club’s kit from $70,000 USD to $80,000 USD, for the 2023/24 MTN Super League Season.
The renewal ceremony took place at Southern Sun in Lusaka on August 18, 2023.
Stanbic Bank Zambia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mwindwa Siakalima expressed the bank’s excitement about the renewed partnership, saying that Stanbic is proud to be associated with NAPSA Stars FC.
“We are delighted to continue our partnership with NAPSA Stars FC. This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to excellence, both on and off the field. We look forward to supporting the team in their quest for success in the upcoming season.” Mr. Siakalima said.
NATIONAL Pensions Scheme authority (NAPSA ) Director General Muyangwa Muyangwa who was the Guest of Honour at this event, expressed his excitement at the partnership renewal, and challenged the team to contest for honors this season to make the sponsors and the fans proud.
The DG said NAPSA’s collaboration with Stanbic Bank underscores the dedication of both institutions to excellence and community welfare.
NAPSA Stars FC Board Chairman John Chundu thanked Stanbic Bank Zambia for their continued support.
“Stanbic Bank Zambia has been an integral part of our journey. We are grateful for their unwavering support and we look forward to a successful partnership in the years to come.” Mr. Chunda said.
NAPSA Stars FC Forward Musonda Kapembwa gave a vote of thanks and commended both sponsors for their commitment to the club.
“On behalf of the players and the entire NAPSA Stars family, I would like to thank Stanbic Bank Zambia and the National Pensions Scheme Authority for their continued support,” Kapembwa said.
The renewed partnership will see Stanbic Bank Zambia’s branding continue to appear on NAPSA Stars FC’s kits for the 2023/24 season. The partnership also includes a number of other benefits for NAPSA Stars FC, such as marketing and promotional support.
The pensioners kick-start their 2023/24 campaign tomorrow with a match against ZESCO United FC at Woodlands Stadium.
