Following the match, Coach Perry mentioned that there was no reason to worry as the league was still in its early stages.
The head coach expressed contentment with the team’s effort but disappointment in the outcome.
Coach Perry also provided his insights on the team’s newcomers, with special mention of Saith Sakala, who made his debut in today’s match.
The Coach mentioned that while he believes Sakala has the potential to contribute more, the decision to field him was somewhat hurried, as he was pushed to play significant minutes before attaining full match fitness.
GBFC’s Coach, Masauso Tembo, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance and the way his players effectively held off NAPSA Stars.
With zero points from two games played, the Pensioners are set to host Kansanshi Dynamos FC in their week three match of the MTN Super League with hopes of picking up a victory.
