Napsa Stars resumed their Zambia Premier League campaign with a highly anticipated match against Atletico Lusaka, which ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
The match, played at a high intensity, saw newly acquired striker Godfrey Binga make his debut for Napsa Stars. Both teams created scoring opportunities but failed to capitalize on them.
The game’s dramatic conclusion saw Tapiwa Kamanga receive a red card in the 90th minute for a foul on Zachariah Chilongoshi. Abel Kanyamuna also received his marching orders in the 94th minute, having been shown a second yellow card.
Simon Nkhata’s outstanding performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
