Third placed NAPSA Stars FC host fourth placed ‘Brave’ Nchanga Rangers this afternoon in what is expected to be a mouthwatering encounter of the Eden National Division One League.
The Perry Mutapa’s coached side will have a lot to fight for to maintain their top three position especially looking at how tight the log is shaping up with all teams fighting to get to back to Super Division.
Coach Perry will be without the services of captain fantastic Luka Banda and midfielder Austin Banda as the duo are currently serving a one game suspension after getting red cards in the Livingstone Pirates game.
The Coach has however declared his charges ready for today’s match saying he will have to use other options as he expects everyone in the team to be up to task.
“It’s a big blow to us because these two are part of our key players, but we have to work with what we have and I am confident everything will go on well,” Coach Perry adds.
Meanwhile this is the second time the two teams are meeting with the first round seeing Rangers beating NAPSA by a goal to nil at Nchanga Stadium.

The Pensioners are coming from recording two victories in a roll from KYSA and Pirates respectively, and they will be looking at maintaining their fine forming going into today’s match.
The team has also been scoring a good number of goals having recorded six goals in their last two matches and only conceding two.
Nchanga Rangers has also been in their fine form wining their last two matches against Police College and Young Green Eagles FC respectively.
Pensioners sit third with 46 points from 25 games played while Rangers are fourth with 40 points from 25 games played.

Evidently NAPSA Stars will miss out on the services of captain Luka Banda who has featured in almost every game for the Pensioners this season.
Banda who has been on top of his game will miss out owing to a red card obtained in the last match played against Livingstone Pirates.
Midfield sensation Austine Banda will also miss out owing to one game suspension.
Daniel Obeng will be back in Coach Perry’s 18-man squad but the fans will have to wait to see how the coach will line up his starting 11 in today’s match to be played at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.
