THE Pensioners have regrouped to prepare for the 2023/24 MTN Super Season following a four-week break.
So far, 28 players have reported and undergone the first part of preseason, which involves medicals and continuous general assessments.
NAPSA Stars Football Club players marked their return with a gym session at Active Gym Fitness center following successful medicals.
And Perry Mutapa led technical bench will conclude all assessments before heading to for their 2023 preseason camp which will be announced soon.
Meanwhile, team physiotherapist Nimrod Musongwa has confirmed that the players are all in good shape after their four-week break.
“We have already done medicals for all players and so far, so good. They all look like they maintained their shape which is a good sign for us because it means we only have a few areas to work on,” Musongwa said.
The team physio also added that all players are adapting well to the change in weather and look all set for training.
The 2023/24 league season is scheduled to resume on August 19, 2023.
NAPSA Stars finished fifth on the log with 51 points in the ended season.
