WE ARE TRAVELING WITH A POSITIVE MENTALITY TO HAVE A POSITIVE RESULT – FATHI

THE Pensioners have this morning travelled to Comoros for their first ever Continental competition.

The Mohamed Fathi coached side finished fourth in the Zambian Super League to be among the four teams representing the country in continental competitions.

The team was drawn against Ngazi Sport in their preliminary round and head coach Mohamed Fathi has selected his best 23-man squad to take on the first leg task in Comoros.

Very little is known about Napsa’s opponent in this first round but coach Fathi has stressed that this will not call for any underrating.

“We don’t know much about Ngazi but we have seen some few videos of them. We have prepared and we have to work according to our plan,” Fathi said.

The coach is optimistic that his side will put in a good performance in Comoros, adding that the results being recorded in the league will not affect their continental fight.

“The league is still young for us to get worried about results affecting anything. Of course we are worried but we are also positive and working hard. This is a different competition and we will do our best,” Coach Fathi adds.

The coach has also added that the technical bench has been working on the player’s concentration even as they head into this encounter.

Coach Fathi has not changed much from the team that has played the four League games.
