The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has pushed all Wednesday fixtures to this weekend of 27th and 28th August 2022.
Originally, Zambia was scheduled to play CHAN qualifiers and all Super League teams and National Division One teams were scheduled to play their week-two matches on Wednesday owing to this schedule.
But now that Zambia was booted out of the race after losing to Mozambique, the weekend is free and FAZ has pushed all matches to that weekend to allow teams to have enough rest after their week one matches.
“However, with Zambia no longer taking part in CHAN qualifiers, the weekend of 27th and 28th August is now free. Therefore, all Week 2 fixtures scheduled for Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th August
respectively will be played on Saturday 27th and 28th August 2022 respectively.” Read the communique from FAZ .
NAPSA Stars FC is scheduled to host Nkwazi in this fixture with match now set for Saturday at Heroes Stadium.
