NAPSA’S 2023/24 MTN SUPER LEAGUE FIXTURES RELEASED

FINALLY, the long awaited 2023/2024 MTN Super League fixture has been released by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), with the league scheduled to start on August 19, 2023.

The Pensioners will have three matches in Lusaka and will only make a trip to Kabwe in their week-four fixture to face Kabwe Warriors.

NAPSA Stra FC will open their campaign hosting Ndola giants ZESCO United on August 19, before making a short trip to Edwin Imboela Stadium for a match against Green Buffalos FC in their week-two fixture.

The Perry Mutapa coached side are scheduled to host Kansanshi Dynamos on September 2, 2023 in a week-three fixture before finally heading out of Lusaka when the team visits Kabwe Warriors FC in a week-four fixture.

Week -five will see NAPSA Stars host Zanaco FC at Heroes Stadium on September 25, 2023.

NAPSA Stars enjoyed their home fixtures at Heroes Stadium last season recording most of their victories at home and will be looking to maintain the same good record this season as they commence their league campaign at home against ZESCO United.

These two teams both beat each other last season with NAPSA Stars winning 2-1 at Heroes and ZESCO United beating NAPSA Stars by 2 goals to 0 in a reverse fixture played at Nkana Stadium.

The Pensioners had an impressive 2022/23 season after their promotion, finishing fifth on the log, while ZESCO United finished third.
