PENSIONERS TAKE COVID-19 TEST.

Napsa Stars Football Club was on Monday, July 20, 2020 tested for Covid-19 ahead of their week 26 encounter with Buildcon FC scheduled for July 31.

Club Secretary General Cephas Sinyangwe led the team and stuff to have everyone tested ahead of the League resumption as guided by the Ministry of Health through the Football Association of Zambia.

And team head Coach Mohamed Fathi who is hoping that everyone in his team tests negative said during the test that this was a better way to continue with the league which was brought to a halt in March owing to the outbreak of the virus.

“This virus has really disturbed us but testing before resuming our games is good for everyone. We need to have an idea of who is positive and who is not so that we do not risk spreading it to everyone.” Fathi said.

Meanwhile the resumption of the league has been reported to have had seen most teams go into their matches without knowing their Covid-19 results or having a good number of players testing positive just a few days or hours before their first match.

The ministry of health however, are yet to announce results for Napsa Stars FC who host Buildcon FC on July 31st, 2020 in their first game since the league resumed on July 18.

The pensioners have since continued adhering to the COvid-19 guidelines given by the Ministry of health even as they await results and preparing for their first match.
