ASSISTANT COACH SIPHO MUMBI LEAVES NAPSA STARS FC FOR NEW ADVENTURE

NAPSA Stars Football Club says farewell to Assistant Coach Sipho Mumbi, a dedicated member of our coaching staff since 2018. Coach Sipho is set to take on a new role as assistant coach at Nkana FC.

Coach Sipho has a special history with NAPSA Stars FC, having also played for the team before retiring in 2015. He was part of the memorable 2012 squad that clinched the Barclays Cup by defeating Power Dynamos FC. Additionally, he contributed to the team’s remarkable journey to the Group stage in its first-ever continental appearance in 2021 and played a role in the coaching staff that guided the team to ABSA Cup glory in 2022.

His expertise on the field and mentorship off the pitch have been key to our club’s success.

We express our heartfelt appreciation for Coach Sipho’s contributions and wish him the very best in his new role.

Although Coach Sipho’s departure creates a coaching vacancy at NAPSA Stars FC, we are optimistic about the future and actively seeking a capable replacement for him.

In a separate development, striker Jimmy Mukeya has joined Kansanshi Dynamos on loan for the rest of the season. Mukeya is a promising young player, and he will be hoping to get regular playing time at Kansanshi Dynamos.

In the same light, the Club has also sent Doisy Soko on loan to City of Lusaka.

NAPSA Stars FC wishes both Mukeya and Soko the best of luck in their new challenges.
