COACH PERRY IMPRESSED WITH SOKO’S PERFORMANCE IN YGBFC MATCH

Coach Perry Mutapa has commended striker Doisy Soko for his excellent performance in the last game played against Young Green Buffalos FC.

The striker scored the only goal for NAPSA Stars Fc which came as an equalizer in the 37th minute of the match.

Despite NAPSA Stars losing this match by 2 goals to 1, coach Perry said his team’s performance was great and that Soko scored one of the best goals in the League so far.

Soko who is a product of Young Napsa Stars, shot a brilliant goal from long range, one which no spectator would have though could end up at the back of the net.

The player last featured for a game in December 2021, when Napsa stars played Trident FC in their week-16 match of the Eden National Division One League.

“What a goal that one was, and a good performance from the whole team and from the boy Soko looking at how he has not been active in a long time. We saw he got tired towards the end and we let him rest, but overall he did very well and I am proud of him,” Coach Perry said.

The goal gave Soko two goals in the League so far with the player being confident of scoring more goals going forward.

He was substituted in the 73rd minute of the match for midfielder Enock Sabumukama.
