MUKEYA IN COACH MICHO’S FINAL COSAFA SQUAD πŸ‘Š

Striker Jimmy Mukeya has been named in Coach Micho’s final squad for the 2021 COSAFA Cup scheduled for July 7-18 in Port Elizabeth South Africa.

The 19-year-old NAPSA player says it’s a great honor to be called to the senior squad, adding that it will be a great experience for him.

β€œI feel happy being part of the senior team, it’s a great privilege for me as a young player playing with experienced players, it will be a great experience for me” Mukeya says.

Mukeya has scored eight goals in the league with 20 appearances. The players has a goal in CAF competitions after eight appearances.

He says he wants to make a great impact at this COSAFA competition, adding that competing at a senior level will help him improve his experience.

β€œLast time I was at the same competition but at under-20 level, I am happy to be part of the senior squad and I will do my best to prove my capabilities, β€œMukeya adds.

Zambia is in Group A alongside Eswatini, Botwana, Lesotho and South Africa.
