MULENGA, LUKA BANDA AND MUKEYA GET NATIONAL TEAM CALL-UPS

THREE NAPSA Stars players, two at the senior team and one with the under23 team could feature in the Zambia squads later this month, after being robbed in provincial squads.

Chipolopolo who have three points from two games played, are scheduled to play back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Lesotho during this year’s first official FIFA break kicking off on 20 March until the 28th, after the two nations.

NAPSA Stars FC Midfielder Augustine Mulenga has returned to the national team call up after a few years of not making the cut.

Our captain Luka Banda who last featured for the COSAFA team that won the 2022 edition has also been called to the squad.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Mukeya has also been called to be part of Coach Oswalm Mutapa’s 30-man provisional squad that will face Egypt in this month’s final 2023 U-23 AFCON qualifier matches.
