NAPSA FACE RELEGATION THREATENED POLICE COLLEGE THIS AFTERNOON

The Pensioners are out searching for another important victory this afternoon when they visit relegation threatened side Police College in a week-31 of the Eden National Division One League.

With two slots up for grabs for super league qualification, Coach Perry’s side will need a victory in today’s match if they want to quicken their chances of bouncing back.

Napsa Stars lead fourth and fifth placed Nchanga and Mighty by six and seven points respectively going into today’s fixtures.

The Pensioners with their 53 points will be needing six points to confirm their qualification, and only three point if Nchanga and Mighty lose or draw their matches today.

And coach Perry has continued to urge his boys to take each game as it comes and sacrifice in the remaining matches.

Going into today’s match, Napsa and Police college met in the first round of the season which saw Pensioners defeat the Police Sponsored side by a goal to nil.

A victory in today’s match will also give the Pensioners a boost going into this coming weekend’s ABSA Cup final match against Red Arrows FC.

Defender Joseph Lungu who will miss the ABSA cup owing to his current team playing his parent team, has commented on today’s league fixture saying it’s a must win encounter for Napsa Stars.

Lungu who replaced Bornwell Silengo in the last match and is likely to start in today’s game, said in his pre-match interview that today’s game is a must win for the team.

“We are ready to fight for this game. It’s a must win for us to quickly bounce back to the super league. We are coming from a win and it’s a motivation for us,” Lungu adds.
