NAPSA STARS FC’S EIGHT REMAINING FIXTURES

  • Nkana vs NAPSA

This is a rescheduled Week-17 match set for this Wednesday at Nkana Stadium.

Napsa and Nkana have not met yet this season owing to both teams being involved in Continental games.

Both teams are currently fighting relegation with NAPSA Stars being on a better side lying fourth from bottom with 36 points while Nkana is second from bottom with 28 points.

The Pensioners are yet to register a victory over Nkana since 2017, but this will not intimidate this Mohamed Fathi coached side that is coming from beating a stubborn Indeni side and looking forward to recording another victory.

  • NAPSA vs Green Eagles

This will be a second leg encounter scheduled for Woodlands Stadium.

In the first Leg, both teams battled to a 1-all draw at Choma’s Independence Stadium with Napsa’s goal being scored by Jacob Ngulube.

After 29 games played, Green Eagles are 13th on the log with 37 points, a point better than NAPSA Stars who have 36 points.

The two teams will meet on Sunday May 23, 2021.

  • Kabwe Warriors vs NAPSA

Warriors were a better side in the first leg played at Woodlands Stadium after beating NAPSA Stars by 2goals to 1.

The Ian Bakala’s coached side is fourth on the log with 44 points after 30 games played.

The two teams meet again on 26 May, 2021.

  • NAPSA vs Zanaco

It’s always a tightly contested fixture between these two teams.

Zanaco will visit NAPSA Stars in this fixture set for Woodlands Stadium on May 29, 2021.

The first leg saw Zanaco carry the day beating NAPSA Stars by 2 goals to 1 in a match played at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

Zanaco is currently second on the log with 50 points after 28 games played.

  • NAPSA vs Lumwana

NAPSA Stars have for a long while enjoyed their home games against Lumwana. However, this will not make the Pensioners relax knowing very well how Lumwana managed to beat them by a goal to nil in the first round played at Solwezi’s Independence Stadium.

The second leg is scheduled for June 2, 2021.

Lumwana is another relegation threatened team lying third from bottom on the log with 30 points.

  • Zesco vs NAPSA

Log leaders Zesco United will host the Pensioners at Levy on June 12, 2021.

Zesco has enjoyed dominance over NAPSA in their last meetings, but this will not scare this determined Mohamed Fathi side that has also enjoyed a few Victories over ZESCO United.

The first leg saw the two teams battle to a 1-all draw with NAPSA Stars equalizing in the dying minutes through a Laudit Mavugo strike.

  • Nkwazi VS NAPSA

A second minute strike by Jacob Ngulube was enough to see the Pensioners emerge victorious over Nkwazi in the first leg match played at Nkoloma Stadium.

These two team meet again on June 19, 2021 at Edwin Imboela Stadium.

  • Napsa vs Nkana

The two team meet again for their second leg encounter set for Woodlands Stadium.
