PENSIONERS CONTINUE THEIR SEARCH FOR VICTORY AS THEY VISIT FOREST TODAY

NAPSA Stars Football Club has travelled to Ndola to take on in-form Ndola outfit Forest Rangers FC in a week-16 of the MTN Super League at the Ndola TradeFair Ground.

Having recorded their second consecutive draw bringing their winless run to 6 matches in the league after their 1-1 home draw against Nkana, the Perry Mutapa tutored side will be looking forward to get the three maximum points away from home for the first time this season in order to get back to winning days.

NAPSA Stars will be hosted by the in-form Forest Rangers who have had a great performance this season in the League. Forest Rangers drew 0-0 away at Power Dynamos, bringing their winless run to two matches this season.

Only seven points separates the two sides with NAPSA Stars sitting on 12th position on the log with 18 points while Forest Rangers are 6th with 25 points.

The last time these two teams met was during the 2020/21 season in the MTN Super League in which NAPSA Stars who were away won the game 1-0.

The two coaches, Perry Mutapa and Ian Bakala who once shared a pitch during their playing days will this afternoon be in charge of NAPSA Stars and Forest Rangers teams respectively.

NAPSA Stars will be boosted as maestro mid-fielder Simon Nkhata who was out owing to an injury returns to the team.

The team will have the return of Bernard Kantumoya who has made cut to the team that has travelled to Ndola after missing out on a lot of matches.

Augustine Mulenga is out owing to an injury he sustained during the last game against Nkana FC.

Central defender David Ohdiambo and Goalkeeper Rodwell Mukwanya are still out nursing their injuries.

In their last five matches, NAPSA Stars have dominated between the two sides having won two, drawing two and losing one to Forest Rangers.

NAPSA Stars has a consistent dominance over Forest Rangers having won six, lost five and drawn three in their last three matches.

Coach Mutapa will want to continue the dominance by winning away to repeat what happened the last time the two teams met.
