PENSIONERS GO ON A FOUR-WEEK BREAK!

NAPSA Stars Football Club Head Coach Perry Mutapa has given his boys four-weeks of rest before the team regroups to prepare for the 2023/24 season.

NAPSA Stars FC finished fifth on the log after their debut appearance in the MTN Super League following their return from Division One.

The Head Coach has explained to NAPSA Stars FC Media that the technical bench has given the team four-weeks of rest and expecting them to report back for training on July 5, 2023.

And with regards to pre-season camping, the coach has confirmed that the technical bench will be looking at camping the team in a town which will allow them to be away from any form of disturbances.

“We are looking at a town which will allow them to bond and were we can have good pitches for our training sessions. We also want them to be far away from home because there’s so many disturbances being near home,” Coach Perry adds.

The Coach has also advised his boys to get enough rest during this break to come back fresh when they regroup.

The 2023/24 MTN Super League season is expected to commence in August, with dates yet to be confirmed by FAZ.

NAPSA Stars finished the league with 51 points after 34 matches played, scoring 40goals and conceding 27.
