PENSIONERS HOST JSK….AS CAPTAIN CHAPA MISSES OUT OWING TO SUSPENSION

The pensioners are today set to take on JS Kabylie of Algeria in their second CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage match set for Heroes Stadium this afternoon.

With the first Group Stage game against RS Berkane seeing NAPSA Stars FC losing 2-0, the Pensioners will be looking at recording nothing but victory in today’s match.

Assistant Coach Kampamba Chintu will be in charge of this Pensioner’s side after coach Fathi was given a compassionate leave to visit his family following the death of his father.

The assistant coach has prepared his strong side to take on JSK this afternoon, but will be without the services of team captain Dickson Chapa who is on suspension after picking up three yellow cards in the last games.

“Our captain is out, but we still have other players capable of taking on the task today. We will push to get something today,” coach Chintu said.

Chintu also adds that he is not under pressure being in charge of this big game, stressing that his side has prepared well and is ready for today’s task.

“We will give it all and try to get a positive result, we will not dwell on the past but focus on the task today,” Coach Chintu adds.

And team Captain Dickson Chapa says he is positive that his teammates will do their best today to record a positive result.

And going into this game, JSK has three points after recording a win against Cotton Sport while NAPSA Stars is yet to record a point after losing 2-0 to RS Berkane.

The game starts 15h00 and will have no spectators, but will be broadcast live on ZNBC.
