PENSIONERS HOST JUMULO AT WOODLANDS STADIUM THIS AFTERNOON

NAPSA Stars Football Club shift their focus back to the Eden National Division One League where they will be hosting Jumulo FC in a week-28 fixture.

The Pensioners will be hoping to do a double over Kitwe based side this afternoon when the two sides meet at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.

The two teams met in the first round with the Pensioners emerging victorious in a match which was played at Garden Park Stadium in Kitwe.

NAPSA Stars FC are desperately searching for a victory in today’s match looking at how the top four has been shaping up with every team fighting for promotion.

The team lost its 3rd position to Nchanga Rangers who have played a game ahead of NAPSA Stars who were off from league action after the ABSA Cup break.

A loss in today’s match will see the pensioners stuck on fourth position with 46 points or drop to firth if Mufulira Wanders who have 43 points, win and score more goals.

Coach Perry’s charges are coming from recording a victory over Super League side Green Buffalos FC in the ABSA Cup competition, and will be hoping on using that motivation to win in today’s match.

Jumulo FC are also from recording a victory over Young Green Eagles in their league match.

NAPSA are fourth on the log with 46 points after 26 games played. The Perry Mutapa’s coached side are sharing the same number of points with Nchanga Rangers who are third owing to goal difference.

Jumulo FC on the other hand are seventh on the log with 40 points after 27 games played.

How to watch the match

The match is set for Woodlands Stadium at 13hours this afternoon.

Gate charges are set for K20, K30 and K50.

The match will also be televised on ZNBC TV 3 on Top Star.
