PENSIONERS HOST WARRIORS AT HEROES TODAY

NAPSA Stars are at Heroes Stadium again for another electrifying encounter as they host Kabwe Warriors in their match week-nine of the MTN Super League.

The Pensioners are coming from recording a victory in their last match where they beat ZESCO United by 2 goals to 1 in their rescheduled week-seven match.

It promises to be a mouth-watering encounter looking at how NAPSA Stars has been performing in their home matches.

Four points separate the two sides on the log with Pensioners currently siting 5th with 12 points while Warriors are 14th with eight points.

NAPSA Stars have won three of their matches so far, drawn three and lost two coming into this match, while Kabwe Warriors have won one, drawn five and lost two.

The Kabwe based outfit is coming from recording a loss to Power Dynamos from their previous match which saw them take lead but losing 3-2 after the final whistle.

But this will not excite the Perry Mutapa-coached side who has been firmly warned not to underrate this George Lwandamina Coached side.

“They are lucky to have a seasoned coach like him. I think for me, one of the best coaches. I know he brings a lot to the team and we expect a tough game. He knows how a Zambian player is, he knows his team, so it won’t be easy,

“We won’t be carried away because they blew away their two nil lead in the last match against Power Dynamos. He is a tactician who brings a lot to the team so we just have to be careful,” Coach Perry says in his Pre-match interview.

NAPSA Stars on the other hand, are coming from beating ZESCO United in their rescheduled week-seven match.

The last time the two teams met was in the 2020/2021 season which saw Warriors beat NAPSA Stars in both halves.
