PENSIONERS IN SEARCH FOR MAXIMUM POINTS

Napsa Stars Football Club will be in action this afternoon as they host Young Green Buffaloes Football Club at Lusaka’s 10, 000 sitting capacity Woodlands Stadium.

This will be their second clash having already played the first leg encounter in which the match recorded a one all draw at Bauleni’s Margaret Mwanakatwe stadium of the Eden National Division One League.

Having consecutively drawn two in their last five matches, head coach Perry Mutapa will be looking forward to assemble an indomitable team that will be capable of crushing the Zambia Army sponsored side in a week 22 fixture.

NAPSA Stars media team caught up with the left back Joseph Lungu who said that he expects the team to collect three maximum points.

Lungu who made his debut for the Pensioners in the last game played against Luapula Green Eagles in Mansa, believes that in order to record the maximum points, team work mentality should take lead among players which he says they have.

He says the team will work hard to ensure that they win the game at all cost.

“Nothing else apart from the three points, we need to put all what we can do to get maximum three points because we have recorded draws in our last two games.” Lungu said.

The Pensioners will tomorrow be aiming to get back to the streak of wins having last won against Kitwe United FC before drawing their last two games.
