PENSIONERS IN SEARCH FOR VICTORY AS THEY VISIT FOREST TODAY

It has been one of the roughest patches for the Pensioners who have struggled to collect maximum points in their last three encounters both in the League and CAF competition.

From a 2-nil loss to Power Dynamos FC in the League, NAPSA Stars played Coton Sport both home and away and lost in both halves.

The Pensioners face another tough test today as they are hosted by Ndola based side Forest Rangers in their week-23 rescheduled fixture set for Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

These two sides last met in the first half of the season with the result ending in a 2-all draw. Forest Rangers equalized in the dying minutes to deny the pensioners from collecting maximum points.

Today the Mohamed Fathi coached side will be searching for nothing but victory to redeem themselves and move some steps up and away from the relegation zone.

But they will have to work extra hard for it as Forest Rangers is also looking at securing their place in the top four.

And going into this match, NAPSA Stars are currently 14th on the log with 24 points from 20 games played, while Forest Rangers are fourth with 35 points from 22 games played.

The two teams meet this afternoon at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in a match slated for 15:00hours.
