PENSIONERS VISIT QUATTRO THIS AFTERNOON FOR THEIR RESCHEDULED FIXTURE

NAPSA Stars FC visit North Western side Quattro FC this afternoon in a rescheduled week-27 match of the Eden National Division One League set for Kalumbila Stadium.

The Pensioners are coming from recording a draw at home against Jumulo FC, and will be hoping to record maximum points in today’s match in order to maintain their top three position.

Coach Perry Mutapa has travelled to North Western with his strong 19-man squad which is also expected to visit Lumwana Radiants on Sunday for a week-29 scheduled match.

With things looking tight for the top seven teams all eying for the four slots up for promotion, the Head Coach has urged his troops to keep the focus going into the seven remaining matches.

The team arrived in Solwezi on Monday March 21, 2022 and will leave on Monday March 28, 2022 after their Sunday week -29 match against Lumwana.

NAPSA Stars FC are third on the log with 47 points, six points behind log leaders FC MUZA, and three points behind second placed Lumwana Radiants FC.

Last week’s draw against Jumulo FC saw the Pensioners move third on the log from fourth position with other results turning out to their favor.

This afternoon, the team will need to fight for a victory if they have to continue being on a safe position looking at how tight the competition is getting with the top seven teams all fighting for promotion.

Quattro FC on the other hand are bottom on the log with 20 points from their 26 games played.

The two teams met in the first half of the season with Pensioners emerging victorious in that fixture.

Today’s match is set for Kalumbila Grounds and will be played at 15h00.
