RED CARD RULES LUKA BANDA OUT OF CHINGALIKA MATCH THIS AFTERNOON.

Napsa Stars will today aim to maintain the top spot when they visit Kitwe United in a week-19 of the Eden National Division One League match set for Garden Park Stadium.

The Pensioners will be without the services of Captain and team central defender Luka Banda who received a red card in the last game played against City of Lusaka.

Banda is Napsa’s top scorer with five goals after 18 games played.

The Pensioners s will be looking for their second win of the season against the Kitwe based side after coming from recording a victory in the match played against City of Lusaka.

Meanwhile, Napsa Stars Forward Jimmy Mukeya says the expectations from the game are high as the team set a target of winning all the remaining matches of season.

“The moral in the team is very high and that is a plus for us.” Mukeya said.

The striker also adds that the love and unity that is in camp will help the team record good results in their away fixture.

Mukeya who was absent that last time Napsa visited Garden Park for Jumulo FC, says he really trained hard to be included in Coach Perry’s 18-man squad.

And in the first half, Napsa Stars FC beat Kitwe United by a goal to nil in a match played at Woodlands Stadium.

Napsa stars are top of the table with 32 points from the 18 games played recording 10 wins, five (5) draws and three (3) loses while their fellow title contenders Kitwe United are fourth with 29 points from the 17 games getting eight (8) wins, five (5) draws and four (4) loses.

Captain Luka Banda will be missing from today’s 18-man squad after getting a red card in the last game played against City of Lusaka.

Coach Perry has called on defender Bornwell Silengo and midfielder Daniel Adoko to join the squad for this match.

Midfielder Joseph Malambwa is also missing from coach Perry’s squad that has travelled to face Kitwe United.

The game will be live on ZNBC TV3 on Top Star at 15:00hrs.
