VENUE CHANGE- ZESCO WILL NOW HOST NAPSA AT NKANA STADIUM!

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has announced the change of venue for week-24 match involving ZESCO United FC and NAPSA Stars FC from Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

FAZ communicated with the clubs through a memo issued by the League Manager Brian Mulenga saying that the reason for the change is because Levy Mwanawasa has been reserved for CAF interclub competition by a team from the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo during the weekend of February 17-19.

The match which has now been set for Nkana stadium, will be played at 15hours, while Buildcon FC will take on Lumwana Radiants FC at 13hours, at the same venue.

“The week-24 televised fixture scheduled for Sunday, 19 February 2023 will be played at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe. The communication supersedes any pronouncements made previously on these fixtures,” Read part of the memo.

In the first round of the season, NAPSA Stars beat ZESCO United by 2 goals to one in a match played at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
