Defender Aaron Kabwe says NAPSA Stars FC is ready for today’s Week-12 match when the team host Lumwana FC at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka.

Kabwe has stressed that NAPSA is taking each game as it comes and will not have pressure going into today’s game.

He said in a pre-match interview with NAPSA Stars FC media yesterday that the team is ready to fight in today’s match, and looking at nothing but victory after 90minutes so as to maintain top position.

“We are playing a team that is coming from Super League just like us, but we look at all the teams in this league the same way, we have to fight for 3 points every week and not put tags on any team,” Kabwe said.

The defender is coming from four months break after suffering from an injury and will be playing his second game this afternoon after coming in as substitute in the last game.

ABOUT BOTH TEAMS;

Both teams playing their first season of the Eden National Division One League after being relegated from the Super League in the 2020/2021 season.  

NAPSA stars is top on the table with 23 points while Lumwana are third on the log with 19 points.

Lumwana are coming from recording a victory in their week -11 match against Young Green Eagles FC while NAPSA is also coming from beating Jumulo Fc by 2 goals to 1 .

TEAM NEWS

Coach Perry has only made two changes to his 18-man squad in camp with Jimmy Mukeya back in the team replacing defender Amos Simwanza.

Rabson Muchelenganga is also in the team this week and has replaced Philip Banda who missed out this week’s training when he was attending A FIFA Goalkeeper coaching course.

Mukwanya still expected to start in goal.

He has declared his lads ready for today’s encounter.
