WE WANT TO CLOSE THE LEAGUE ON A HIGH- KEEGAN, AUGUSTINE

The 2022/23 MTN Super League Season is finally coming to a close this weekend and NAPSA Stars is scheduled to visit Prison Leopards FC at President Stadium on Saturday.

The last time the league was active was on May 13, 2023, with NAPSA Stars hosting Forest Rangers FC at home and drawing 1all in that match.

NAPSA Stars FC Midfielder Keegan Zulu has shared his views ahead of this match saying the team wants to finish the league on a high and will fight to win this Saturday match.

The Pensioners have 50 points from 33 games played and have the potential of finishing the league on third position depending on how other results will turn out on Saturday.

Zulu says this is an important game that needs all the attention it deserves to see the team finish on a good position.

“Being the last game, the fans want a win from us, and we will push to give them a good send off to the season,

“Prison should not be underrated; they are a good team especially playing at home, so we have to push and get the three points to finish on a good position.” Zulu adds.

NAPSA Stars beat Prison Leopards FC by 4 goals to 1 in the first round of the season.

Meanwhile, midfielder Augustine Mulenga has also shared similar views saying winning this weekend’s game will give the team a boost going into the next season.

Mulenga who has four goals to his name this season says the team is prepared for this game and will take it with all the seriousness it deserves to close on a high note.

“The Coach is always encouraging us to work hard so I am sure everyone will put in maximum effort to collect maximum points on Saturday,” Mulenga said.

Mulenga has also added that the win will also be good for the fans who have been so supportive to the team throughout the season.

NAPSA Stars have won 13, drawn 11 and lost nine games so far this season.
